Does the Battery Access Kit directly replace the existing shelf?
Yes. It uses the same provisions and supports as the original shelf.
Does the Battery Access Kit require structural modifications?
Minimal. You may need to replace some anchor nuts.
Can the Battery Access Kit be reversed?
Yes. It can be removed as easily as it was installed. An OEM shelf can be installed. (Although why you would want to, we cannot say).
Does the Battery Access Kit reduce incidental damage?
Absolutely! Removal of the OEM batteries regularly causes incidental damage to the battery wiring. Our Battery Access Kit eliminates these hazards.
